The Future of Automation

As a worldwide technology and market leader, Aucos has been a partner of industry for almost 40 years.

The company was founded in 1979 as “Aucos elektronische Geräte GmbH” by the pioneers Dr. Hanno Blackert, Dr. Robert Freund and Dr. Dirk Wimmenauer. Aucos has sustainably changed the world of surface technology from the very first day the company was founded.

Technological milestones such as the Aucos “Mixed Cycle System”, plant optimisation, simulation, contactless trolleys and many other innovations represent new standards in the industry.

The handover to the next generation was successfully completed in 2014, emerging with the new Aucos AG and Peter Kessels as well as Andreas Schuhmacher as members of the board. This transition laid the foundation for the new challenges of digitisation and changes in industry.
